Bad Week For Me

Posted by Louis under Uncategorized 17 comments

This isn’t related to Internet Marketing, but I’m posting this here just to vent. I was driving home from uni the other day coming home from an exam when I turned into another car and messed up the paintwork on both cars pretty bad. The crash was entirely my fault so I’m glad the driver of the other car wasn’t too mad. Pics of my car before:

… And after:

Although the damage isn’t that bad, I have to pay my insurance company $2600 just to fix this (on top of the $3200/year insurance I already pay for my car). This is in AUD (about 0.65 USD = 1.00 AUD), but it’s definitely really expensive and something I could have done without. Being 19 and male means insurance is insanely expensive, especially with my car.

Anyways, I’ve been pretty busy the last couple of weeks with exams but will get some more posts up on this blog now that I have some free time. I’m planning on writing more on SEO since that’s what I know most about (especially the new MSN loophole method which a lot of people are talking about), but if you would like to see Net Strife cover some specific internet marketing topic, comment below and I’ll see if I can write about it.

That’s bad. You have a cool car though. :) I too hope to get one by the time I turn 18.

I’m waiting for new awesome posts from you. It would be helpful if you did a blog post on selling flagship blogs. I’d like to know more about that one.

When I first saw your car, I said “damn, nice car!”. Then, I saw that last picture and was like “ouch!!”.

I do know the feeling since I also own a car and know how much I care for it (haven’t had an accident with it so far, though).

That’s a definite bummer, but you’re one of the few who actually admits fault in a car accident. As I’m about to be rolling out an affiliate program for http://www.novelconceptstudio.com, I’m always interested in reading your thoughts on that. However, I know you covered the topic pretty well recently. I’m interested in your thoughts on this “loophole” as well!

That really sucks. You definitely have a nice car but for that happens to it would really piss me off. All car insurance really sucks anymore and they are always trying to get out of everything. It is always good that there are loopholes you can try to use and I hope you can find one that works for you.

Thanks all for the comments. @ Tom - I live in Perth WA, never lived anywhere else.

With the car I just found they will probably have to take the entire thing apart and get a new back right panel, for around $4-5,000 worth (and I won’t have it for at least three weeks while they work on it). Guess I am better at marketing than driving lol

Can’t say I really like the new look of the 370z although the interior is way cooler (from the prototype shots at least). probably my next car will be a lotus elise but ill still keep my current car

Thats an awesome car. Sorry about the crash. It’s very fixable though.

That sucks man but don’t feel bad about a month ago some dude pulled in front of me and I was going 55 mph which was the speed limit. There was nothing I could do. BAM! car was completely totalled, both airbags deployed etc. It’s sucks your car got dented but it could always be worse my friend. Glad it wasn’t too bad of a wreck.

OUCH! That cute little thinggy doesn’t deserve that! Oh, well. Bad luck really happens sometimes and it sucks. Just get marketing off your mind first while driving. LOL!

What do you think? Have your say!
